Established in 1973 by its' current Chairman, John Anderson, Today Interiors initially imported specialist textile wallcoverings from high-end European mills. The company quickly gained a reputation for innovative collections, distributed on an exclusive basis throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. An in-house design facility was formed in the early 1980's to broaden the company's appeal to both domestic and export markets. The resulting collections soon accounted for 95% of sales and established Today Interiors as a leading name in the supply of fabrics and wallcoverings to the designer and high street outlets. This period saw the company expand rapidly, moving to purpose-built premises in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Further land was also acquired at this time in anticipation of future growth with the second phase of the build, completed a few years later, effectively doubling storage capacity. The Today Interiors product portfolio has been broadened since the Millennium to include plush high-performance velvets from Italy, French Taffetas, Indian silks and, of course, wallpaper and printed fabrics from the finest British mills. Customer service is regarded as a key ingredient in the company's success. All enquiries and orders are dealt with by professional personnel, many of whom have served 20 years or more with the company. Investment in stock is maintained to ensure same-day despatch applies to 95% of all orders received. Today Interiors are proud suppliers to major retailers including John Lewis Partnership, Liberty, Heals and leading independents throughout the UK and Ireland. Commercial clients include hotel groups such as Marriott, Malmaison, and Sheraton. Export markets include the USA, China, Scandinavia and most EU countries.
